so the bad news is the camera broke again. good news is that it wasn't my fault. technically. we have an awesome semi-rigid camera case but for whatever, unknown reason the camera will get moved while in the case and turn on. it will then stay on for an undetermined amount of time. in this case causing the battery to die and the camera to overheat. once we had recharged the camera and we removed/replaced the battery our camera would then turn on moving the lens out. but the lens would not retract while shutting the camera off. we attempted to investigate and ian ended up taking the camera apart. [the engineer in him just couldn't resist] but it was hopeless. so now i am on the hunt for another point and shoot mid-price range camera. and it is nearly impossible to narrow down the options. i have been very happy with my nikon cameras in the past so we at least have narrowed down a brand. wish me luck as i hopefully get one ordered sometime tonight. until then the blog will be filled with crappy i phone images. sorry.
on a much happier note i did the first rough draft of our DIY wedding invitations last night. and they turned out great. so that is one major stress reliever! in other updates my veil came. YAY! and ian got fitted in this suit for the wedding. so things are really starting to come together now! it's just a waiting game for the most memorable wedding anniversary ever.
