Yes there is still a "Graduation Weekend Part 3" on the way. It includes festivities from Saturday and Sunday. But in case anyone was wondering how my first week of "full time" studying is going. Here is the low down.
1. I haven't felt well or been sleeping well. Which translates roughly into I slept in until 10 am on MOnday and Tuesday. I feel horribly guilty about this. [I keep telling myself this is not a normal happening and I hope to happily report tomorrow that I got up when my other half got up to leave for his real job]
2. Studying is hard. I'm not sure if it was the break from the constant sitting but now I struggle to get a few good consecutive hours. [Don't worry, I know how to study with the best of them and this is not a permanent problem]
3. I will finally get into a routine with blogging. BUT on the down side there is not much exciting things to document. People get tired of hearing about studying. HOWEVER on the up side I am finding lots of DIY home improvement projects during my study breaks. Which was sort of why I decided to start this blog in the first place, well that and wedding happenings. [Interior design + wedding happenings.]
All in all. Things are going well. I'm still surviving over here. And I can see lots of new ideas in our somewhat distant future. Bare with me for a few weeks/months, then things will finally get interesting! A few things we know we will be doing: painting walls [YAY!!], painting furniture [Double YAY!!], redoing some flooring (kitchen, entry ways, bathrooms), building a desk & built in book shelves (this may not be for a while folks), finally hanging some artwork. We are scouting out old window panes and vintage night stands/end tables still. Eventually we will get around to re-arranging the basement artwork and painting the dresser the TV currently sits on. This is sort of a master run down of expected projects for this home. But we also must keep in mind the fact that we have a wedding to pay for so I anticipate we will be crossing things off the list very s-l-o-w-l-y.
