DIY card books

I love holding on to old memories. I think each time I look back on something I remember it slightly differently but with happiness all the same. Old cards are one thing I love to look back on - especially with a special someone. You can literally read your hopes and dreams for the future and see the ways in which you have grown. I love it!!

I have been collecting our "new house," "engagement," and "wedding" cards but hadn't found a good way to organize them. Until now!! I stumbled upon this link with a few great ideas! I used their template and  customized it to fit our needs. Here is our card "books." We used a standard 3 hole punch and got the rings from office max for under 5 bucks!

New Home Card Book
Complete with address and move-in date

Engagement/Wedding Card Book
Embellished with tulle
(Could also use scrap booking sticker or initials)

Finished product!

Gorgeous rings alongside a gorgeous card from our gorgeous baby sister

The final step is getting an old wire basket to keep them in on a side table in the living room so they become a piece of artwork in our home instead of stored away memories!
