week in review.

Friday was a long day but I was excited to come home to a candlelit table filled with gourmet cheeses, crackers and bread. We finally cracked open a bottle of wine from Kate and Zach given to us as a house warming gift. (About time... I know!) We spent the rest of the evening snuggling up to watch some TV shows and organizing picture to get some free prints from shutterfly. Yes people this is how wild and crazy your life gets after you "settle down" :)

Last night we were able to help our beautiful friend Ann turn 25!! It was pretty exciting - we got dinner at Blackstone (where we realized individually that the last time we had each eaten there at been together as a group of four to celebrate Ann and Joel's engagement and now they are just your average adorable married couple) and got drinks at Graze. They continue to have the most amazing martinis around.

Other than that I have been working on trying to finish my paper, study for boards and best prepare for my upcoming week at my clinical. Half of my work week will be spent at a professional Autism conference hosted by St. Luke's Hospital. I am excited to learn more about this disorder and how it may impact the way I practice. Cross you fingers for me that I can get a majority of my paper done today!! FINALLY!

Ian had an open house at the new building for Raining Rose which is seriously gorgeous by the way. It was quite a success from the sounds of it. I didn't go instead I spent all day scrubbing the house from top to bottom and somehow it still feels like a mess. He has also been wonderful about running to the store for all the little things we needed around the house and cooking a majority all of this weekends meals. I love this boy so much.
