chalkboard art

i got this adorable chalkboard from momma flynn for my birthday. it was most recently hanging in our kitchen but i wanted to use it in the entryway for the front door.

i have been eyeing chalkboard signs for lots of wedding things as well and i wanted to do a trial run. i was SUPER easy and turned out great!

supplies:

chalkboard [you can DIY with chalkboard paint and particle board]

chalk

Microsoft Word + printer & paper

step 1. research + make your template on MS Word

            [easier said than done]

step 2. print your creation

            [tip: make sure your font is dark enough to see through the paper]

step 3. flip printed sheet over and outline with chalk ON the BACK SIDE

step 4. lay sheet face up on chalkboard use chalk to rub over front surface

step 5. remove sheet and ADMIRE

step 6. re-outline on the "real" chalkboard
