so it is official.

i have finally asked all my beautiful ladies to join me and share in my joy on my wedding day. and let me tell you it was not an easy task - but well worth the wait. i have been saving all the details and pictures. it was hard!! :)

here is line up:
MOH - Evan Flynn
Bridesmaids - McKenzie Leichty, Linea Bartel, Laura Hess, Kate Bissig

i decided to craft something to ask these women to stand next to me on the most important day of my life. i took ideas from a lot of different places - here are links to the overall idea for the box and the card . seriously there are TONS of creative ways to ask your wedding party out there on pinterest and independent blogs. i made a box of goodies filled with wedding themed things. i stuck with the colors of the wedding and used a craft paper box - wrapped with a large tulle bow. i also used layered paint chips with an initial on it to seal the deal with raffia! here was the outside finished product:

Inside the boxes i layered items. first was a large watercolor card asking "will you be my bridesmaid" - see link above for detailed instructions

other items in the box include:
-multi-layered details for the wedding - including ceremony details, who  included in the wedding party and what dress to purchase - i used the same fonts that will be used in our wedding programs and invitations
-a vintage-wash edited personal photo in an ivory picture frame
-a personal, hand written message from the bride to each bridesmaid
-paint swatches and sample pictures to use in reference to selecting dresses

here are pictures of me asking the girls!! this part was the most fun!! :)
