another new beginning

blogging is something i have been contemplating for months - if not years. (but there is an underlying feeling of unease about sharing intimate parts of my life: my thoughts, aspirations and desires with strangers.) i've decided that i have too many amazing things going on in my life i don't want to forget any of the wonderful details. whenever i get a chance to catch up with my favorite blogs it leaves me feeling invigorated and inspired. i don't follow blogs with particular devotion but use them as outlets to new blogs and new ideas. this is another hobby that i am embracing, a way to further grow and develop more fully into the person i want to become. 


recently my life has been full of new adventures. i appreciate all the changes that have blessed my life & i want to share them with those who cannot be near me. 

within the last 4 months i have:
-turned 25 (whoot whoot)
-purchased and moved into my first home with my Ian
-became engaged to my best friend <3 (best day of my life)
-finished up my PT school curriculum (which included taking my last official finals)
-traveled to Virginia for 2.5 months for a Pediatric clinical


i hope to use this blog to document (fun wedding planning details, our crazy DIY projects that will transform our house into a home, travel adventures & daily life happenings) AND to share inspiration (my favorite things, current music obsessions, recipes, and quotes).  




here are the exciting events up and coming on the docket for 2012-2013: 

-returning home to Iowa 

   (to my cozy house, handsome F, loving family and amazing friends)

-finishing up 2 terminal clinical internships

-weddings, weddings, weddings 

   (between details about our wedding to updates about those we are attending)

-holidays

   (i'm a sucker for holidays: especially halloween & christmas)

-graduation - FINALLY!

-national board examination (fingers crossed)

-first job (keep those fingers crossed)
